Development of Atsumi II Wind Power Station with 21,000 kW generation output, Tahara City, Aichi - Aiming to start operation in FY2027

Chubu Electric Power has decided to construct the Atsumi II Wind Power Station (the "Station") in Konakayama-cho, Tahara City, Aichi Prefecture.

The Station is an onshore wind farm with a generation output of 21,000 kW, with construction scheduled to begin in May 2025 and operation to commence in November 2027.
We will proceed with the development in consideration of the natural environment and with the understanding and cooperation of the local community and other related parties.

The Chubu Electric Power Group has positioned renewable energy as one of its main power sources that will contribute to achieving a carbon-free society as well as enhancing energy self-sufficiency, and we will continue active development in order to achieve our goal of "an expansion over 3.2 million kW through ownership, construction, and maintenance of renewable energy plants by around 2030".
